    Superb

the location and the spectacular views

the front desk should have more staff for the people checking in and out. It was a lengthy process and there were a lot of people lined up waiting.

    Exceptional

The 34th floor location was fantastic and the view of the ocean was a treat. The bed was especially comfortable - I think they just put in a new mattress. It was nice to have a fridge in the room. The room was spacious, newly renovated and very clean.

    Fabulous

close to shopping on Robson Street - within walking distance of park and beach - great location - friendly bar and staff at Comox Bar and Grill for watching Canucks hockey game

    Fabulous

The location couldn't be any better. We were close to everything. We could take a long walk to Stanley Park or a short walk to numerous restaurants and shopping. Parking was effortless and affordable as well, so if you have a car don't hesitate to bring it along for a day trip to Whistler or somewhere else close by. We had a ton of room in our suite which would easily accommodate a family of 4 with room to spare. Conference facilities were also really good.

The towels... ouch!! Either get some new ones or use fabric softener please!! Our room was showing its age, but was still clean.

    Very good

Good mix of price, location and qualities compared to other options; staff were friendly. Despited basic/dated decor, the room was very well maintained with an excellent and comfortable bed

Rooms are a little dated (except: TV and bed which were both excellent), but overall good value

    Exceptional

The staff in all venues was fabulous. Location was great - in the middle of an area with lots to see, do, dine & drink at, as well as very close proximity to the sea wall, ocean and shopping. Third, and very important to me, was the price. An outstanding bargain.

We were upgraded to a beautiful suite at no extra charge. It was amazing!!!! The location is perfect for what we wanted and the staff were great. Would definitely stay there again!!!

    Superb

It was clean and tidy and quiet. The staff were helpful, but not intrusive. The bed was really comfortable and you had the option of eating inhouse if you needed to save some money.

A couple of lights didn't work.

    Fabulous

    Staff was excellent and accomodating

Bathroom floor was dirty. Elevator noise in "Premium" suites is very loud but staff moved us to a Junior Suite...smaller but much better.

    Very good

The hotel offered good value for money as booked through Booked.net we had a 2 bedroom suite at a very good rate - watch out for added taxes in Canada however. The room was a bit dated, especially the large kitchen area which was only not very well equipped, however the suite was very clean and comfortable. Ideal for a family of four. The pool area, though clean, was in the car park level, un-staffed and not very welcoming. However the good sized pool and spa bath were perfectly fit for purpose and we usually had the facility to ourselves. We chose a suite to be on floor 26 or above for the antcipated lovely views, but rain meant we saw little of Vancouver at all in our 2 day visit.

The velvet cushions on the bed could have been fresher - smelled a bit used.

I stayed here to be with the Cascade Bike Club rsvp group ride. The staff was excelent friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was central to all the good things about Vancouver.

When we arrived to check-in it was after a long day of travel and after 11pm. I went to the desk to check-in. My first impression was it was an average hotel, looking tired though. We were given a room on the 14th floor. Once in our room, with our son and granddaugher, we noticed it was not very clean. The lack of cleanliness was obvious. The windows all had fingerprints on them, the bathroom had a rusty tub plug hanging from the tap and the kitchen area had a dirty toaster and dirty cupboards that held the dishes. I called the front desk, we were moved to another room on the 23rd floor. This was also not as clean as one would expect for $300. per night!!! We felt very uncomfortable all night and checked out early the next day!! We found another hotel that actually lived up to its star rating. No refund was given for our one night, only for our remaining nights. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. It should be rated at 1 - 2 stars maximum.

    Good

Reception staff were excellent and Jonathon at the concierge desk was very helpful. The beds were quite comfortable. We had a high room with a city view and it was great to view as darkness came. The location of the hotel is in an area of many restaurants, really highlighting the multi cultural nature of Vancouver. Quality and price of these restaurants are excellent.

The room cost was too high for what one got overall. The hotel in my view is a 3 star with a 4 star price. The only time we used the restaurant was for one breakfast, and it left to lot to be desired in both ambiance and quality and price. The low point of the stay.
